Petaluma Humanists sponsor presentation

On Sunday, May 18 from 4 to 6pm , the Petaluma Humanists will sponsor a presentation about living conditions in East Africa and the Sanyu Babies Home for Abandoned Children in Uganda.

Catherine Muthoni, a mother visiting from Kenya, will speak about why infants are abandoned.  Petaluma Humanists who have traveled to Uganda and are organizing support for the infants of the Sanyu Babies Home will also share experiences and a short video of the home.

Donations of first aid supplies, pediatric medicines and vitamins, children's music cassettes and money will be welcomed; refreshments will be served.  The event will be held at the Petaluma Coffee Company, 189 H Street, Petaluma, Call 707-235-6778 or 707-765-2770 or email [email protected] for details.
